It is the narration of "Donia", the kind-hearted beautiful woman, with the delicate human sense, and compassionate heart. Since the start of juvenility, she had an appointment with a severe destiny and crossroads. Her father died early, and she found herself obliged to leave the school, and work on bringing up and sustaining her sister. Then, she married a poor man, whom she loved and he loved her, hoping that the love is stronger than the hardships and able to solve all problems.
Her life looked like dreams of all people; and she was living with her husband and children with contentment and hope. Once upon a time, "Donia" became the sole witness of a horrible killing crime on her way back home. It was the crossroad in the life of "Donia". She was either to be a dumb witness, seeing a truculent killer with her eyes, feeding the crime with her silence about a prime youth, or she may have "a fair word" and a courageous status for herself and for the real fact.

It was a struggle for "Donia" in her choice between her human and legal duty, and her peace of mind, tranquility, promised happiness, and family. The struggle became more complicated when she stands alone in front of coercion, influence and power of the rich people, and their ability to bribe, spoil, and threaten. It became more and more complicated when she and the beloved people around her change and sneak away into labyrinths of loss and crime.
